Hi, p0401 I posted a problem with my clio 2-3 weeks back and was advised that the coolant temp sensor could be the cause. I have replaced this but the fault still remains. can anyone help. My clio is bunny hopping when it gets up to temp. It has started to get worse and now seems to do it even when the engine has been running ok for a while. I noticed today that with bonnet up and someone lightly revving the engine, there is a sound coming form the injection area. It sounded like the engine sucking in air. This coincides with the depression p0401 of the foot pedal. This would explain the bunny hopping-fuel mixture problem. has anyone got some advice as to what this may be??

Thank you for the replies. I replaced the plugs the other day and they looked ok. I also had the computer code (but have forgotten it). I know that the garage said it was showing a faulty fuel mixture p0401 too rich. The local garage did not have a clue. I don't want to take it to Renault and get charged thousands. I noticed when changing the air filter that there was a small amount of oil in the filter housing is this normal for a car of this age?
